Energetically, winter is Yin (feminine and fluid). It is a slow time to conserve your strength.
According to Chinese medicine, water corresponds to the kidneys and bladder, which are linked to the systems that cleanse and moderate what we discard from the body.
This is our cue to gain mental and emotional clarity and get rid of anything that’s not serving us.
In class tomorrow we will support the winter organs with twists and gentle backbends.
We will also embrace stillness and celebrate our sensitivities.
Winter is a time to be inspired, we will take time in our meditation to keep our inner world bright and to germinate our dreams.
I hope you can join us!
Much love,
Marielle
