Dealing with tension

How can we be strong, resilient and relaxed?

So often, in our culture, "relaxing" stands for: sitting at the couch, binge watching a series.

Strength then gets associated with: grunting, sweating or actively pushing through the pain.

There is a middle ground, a base-line of health that we will explore in our class today.

Where we can carry our body with ease and be strong simultaneously.

It requires us to drop a little deeper in, to awaken or re-activate some bigger, more "quiet" muscles.

We will focus on two area’s in our body:

-The inner hips, namely Psoas Muscle, a major, support muscle connected to the Nervous System (it helps down regulate it.)

-The Pelvic Floor, finding the balance between flexibility and strength is key to staying relaxed in the spine.

For this class you will need a BLOCK.

Much love,

Marielle
