deally the pelvis holds our organs, like fruit in a bowl, to support the body optimally.
Often the pelvic muscles are weak and they don’t fulfill this important function.
They need strengthening.
Today’s class will revolve around the weak places:
Our pelvic floor, the inner back muscles and lower belly.
To help stabilize the body we will address the Illiacus and Psoas.
The Illiacus flexes and externally rotates the femur.
The Psoas is a postural support muscle and helps with walking.
