mobility and strength in the hips

When I saw this little, portable shop, I felt so happy to see the strawberry plants. Also I smelt the fragrance of freshly mowed grass, which brings up all good memories of living outside.

Today we will honor getting more mobile and strong for longer times in nature.

We will work with the HIPS.

We will like our poses and movement to facilitate more space and ease in our HIP FLEXOR MUSCLES.

First we will have to know what the most important hip flexor muscles are:

PSOAS MAJOR, starts at the inside of the Femur and attaches to the lower back Ribs.

Function: joins the upper body and the lower body, the inside to the outside and the back to the front.

ILIACUS, connects from the base of the Femur to the top of the Pelvic Crest.

Function: forward bending, lifting the trunk from a lying posture.

See you soon!

Much love,

Marielle
