When my daughter turned thirteen, she really got into baking.
It ranged from watching baking shows to creating her own yummy cakes and cookies.
It quickly turned into her way to deal with anxiety and stress, and sharing her sweet products was constructive and communal.
Energetic imbalances are connected to the roots of our wellbeing.
Yoga aids to support all our levels of mobility and energy distribution.
This week we will address the heart.
Our hearts are an anchor of gentle strength and they invite connection and a sense of wholeness.
From the heart there is a direct fascia line to the shoulders, arms and hands.
In class we will play with gentle back bends, arm balances and Sun-Salutations.
This practice opens the chest muscles and intercostals, enhancing lung function and the Immune System. It will help open up the sweet space between the shoulder blades and release the shoulders.
Please bring a BLANKET to class today.
Much love,
Marielle
