Life throws us curve balls. Balancing is therefor a different act each day.
Sometimes it is balancing our emotional response or the way we organize our daily routine. Each season brings it’s own set of needs in the balancing department: but Winter is definitely in the top ten of most treacherous weather patterns.
When we think about balance in Yoga, we often envision holding a Tree pose or an Eagle pose.
But falls don’t usually happen when we are standing still.
They happen when we are moving, adjusting or transitioning.
Mastering transitions is the key to preventing injuries.
In today’s Yoga session we will play with going in and out of poses to build coordination and balance.
Please bring a tennis bal or a golf bal to the practice.
Much love,
Marielle
